Details: The second season of the Beast Wars CGI animation was being made in Canada but Japan could wait no longer, in 1998 a 2d animation was aired: Beast Wars II (aka Beast Wars Second). This was a good thing for mini-figure collectors as it meant more toys, and this time they got super deformed keshi!
Strangely, as with much of the Beast Wars II merchandise the packaging still shows the CGI graphics.
This mini board game came with 8 figures, 4 red and 4 blue all semi-translucent in hard plastic, they are not the easiest of figures to photograph:
Like many super deformed keshi they doubled as 'pencil toppers' with the hole underneath and also had detachable weapons as shown in the instruction booklet:
