Lucky Yuckies Mxd Media
Property: Lucky Yuckies
Medium: Mini Comic
About: Lucky Yuckies were Western vending machine figures released in the mid-80's that were bootlegs of the Japanese keshi toy line Gegege No Kitarō.
Lucky Yuckies figures show up in MUSCLE lots from time to time and are thus frequently in need of identification for those not familiar with them. Though the figures have been identified for years, finding packaging or documentation was a long time coming. Thanks to a tip from Eric Nilla, I was able to sn-izzle-atch 5 Lucky Yuckies mini-comics from eBay.
So I've got pages and pages of a very wacked out comic series to share with you all. Below is the cover - front and back - of book one. Enjoy!
Damn, I'm kind of glad I didn't find these as a child, haha. Much more to come in the future!

You're a machine Soups, almost a new post every day!
How's the rubber on these bootlegs compared to the japanese keshi?
Ha, it feels good to be back in the groove. The Lucky Yuckies are made of a softer, more rubbery material than the originals.
A wonderful find, those are truly fun and weird!
It's incredible how much a simple little rubber figure coupled with a handful of drawing and a few line of text can suggest.
And as far as magical powers coming from vending machine, this had got to be the mighthiest!
